Lara Triona
Research Associate III
Lara Triona joined EdInsights in 2023 as a research associate. She focuses on evaluating institutional effectiveness and initiatives to improve the community college experience. Lara is passionate about ensuring California offers empowering and equitable educational opportunities. Her previous research focused on math and science learning by children in schools as well as in museums and other informal learning settings. Lara also has more than a decade of experience designing curriculum for various education-focused companies. Lara received a Master’s of Science degree and a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and a BA in Psychology with a minor in Education from UC Santa Cruz.
