Rebecca Woolston

Research Associate 

Rebecca Woolston has her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Sacramento State. She also holds an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Mills College and a BA in English with a minor in History from Sacramento State. She was a Division I student-athlete, competing in all four years for Sacramento State’s Women’s Rowing team. She is a proud first-generation college student, which contributes to her research interest of student empowerment and engagement. Other research interests include power structures, reading and writing curricula, literature, pedagogy, and cultural studies. She’s especially interested in examining these topics through feminist and queer theories.
