Jasmine Nguyen is a Research Associate at EdInsights. She conducts quantitative research in support of EdInsights’ large-scale evaluation of an initiative to improve institutional effectiveness at the California Community Colleges. Jasmine’s research interests include incorporating sociological perspectives in education and promoting improved outcomes for underrepresented students. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in education from Sacramento State. Jasmine transferred to Sacramento State from Ohlone College, a community college in Fremont, where she participated in an internship with Mission Valley’s Regional Occupational Program.
