Madeleine R. Kerrick, Ph.D.
Executive Director
Madeleine Kerrick is the executive director of EdInsights. In this role, she leads a dynamic team in conducting research, evaluation, and professional learning to foster transformative institutional change. Since joining EdInsights in 2018, Madeleine has secured over $6 million in multi-year grants and contracts, led impactful evaluation studies for educational programs statewide and on campuses, and guided strategic efforts to advance equity-focused practices, including a partnership between The CSU Student Success Network and CSU ASAP.
A developmental psychologist by training, Madeleine brings expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research, as well as partner engagement. Before joining EdInsights, she was an adjunct professor at San José State University, where she taught research methods and courses on identity development. Madeleine holds a master’s and a doctorate in developmental psychology from UC Santa Cruz and a bachelor’s in child development from Sacramento State. She is passionate about leveraging research to drive institutional change and improve educational outcomes for minoritized students.
