Jasmine M. Nguyen

Research Associate II

Jasmine started at EdInsights as the center’s first research assistant after serving an  apprenticeship as CSUS Institute of Education Sciences Pathways Fellow in 2017. Prior to returning to the evaluation team as a research associate, Jasmine established her devotion to social justice by addressing issues of organizational development, racial inequity, and policy advocacy within her studies, volunteership, and occupations at a number of social justice NGOs. As a former first-generation student of both California Community College (CCC) and California State University systems, Jasmine is proud to utilize her skills in mixed-methods research to support the evaluation of the CCCCO Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative team and CSU Student Success Network. Jasmine earned an M.A. in Sociology from San Jose State University and a B.A. in Sociology with an Education Minor from California State University, Sacramento.
